“A very welcoming and comfortable stay with a great breakfast”
".. a getaway break .. in Feb and had a throughly enjoyable stay.  .. welcoming and friendly without being intrusive .. the room was .. tastefully furnished with .. the owner's abstract sculptures and paintings .. Don't be put off by the idea of a continental breakfast .. fresh fruit, homemade smoothies, ham, cheeses, porridge & cereals .. delicious."

"Happy Break"
"I found my stay here very pleasant .. we were greeted by our hostess who was very charming and helpful ... The bed was very comfortable and we had tea/coffee and snacks in our room on arrival, as we were leaving very early next morning .. we were given a continental breakfast (left in cool bag) which was amazing .."

"FANTASTIC"
"We have just returned from a 3 night stay at South Lodge and felt we must write a review. This lovely B&B ticked all the boxes .. It deserves all the stars it can recieve .. Breakfast was fantastic, with a fresh smoothie waiting for you plus fresh fruit, cheese, toast, cooked meats, local apple juice, yogurt drinks, tea, coffee, etc the list goes on! ... a big thankyou to Louise .. she was warm and friendly with a welcoming smile and nothing was too much trouble for her..!"

“Great stay in a great place”
"Stayed 4 nights at South Lodge, with my daughter and grown up son. The hosts, Bill and Christa are the best, very helpfull and could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were some of the best we have tried, ... Broadstairs is still a the gem I remember from being a student there 35 years ago, great beach and lovely views ..!"
