Your Hosts Christa and Bill are both involved with art.

Christa is a very good painter. She uses many types of media and mainly paints
in a modern contemporary style. All rooms in South Lodge have her pictures.

Bill is a public and community artists who also creates his own sculptures from time to time.
He is also Chair of Chesworth Arts Farm Studios. A new studio being developed for established scuptors and dirty artists in Horsham, West Sussex. Due to open after extensive repair and conversion work in the Autumn of 2007.

He is a passionate believer that everyone benefit's from using their creative talents,
which you all have. The education system today throughout Europe and beyond has
a tendency to restrict the time and opportunity for children to use their creative skills
at school. This needs to change. We will all enjoy life more and make more of life if
we use our creative skills. Give children the chance of performing at their best.
